On-line Programs

At the start of the 2005 school year, the Rectorate launched its new promotional program for e-learning.

The first stage saw the generalization of the use of teaching platforms or LMS (Leaning Management System) in order to promote the dissemination of information and teaching materials. During the 2005-2006 winter semester, the Dokeos platform was deployed and then the Moodle platform was set up at the end of October 2006. In June 2013, Chamilo replaced Dokeos and was used in parallel with Moodle for 5 years. In 2018, a project to unify the teaching platforms was initiated for the benefit of Moodle, which became the only platform used at UNIGE.
